We offer practical advice to ensure your property is best presented at the right price to attract quality tenants. The marketing campaign will start before your property becomes vacant. Viewings are scheduled when it’s most convenient for prospective tenants - that means after business hours and on weekends.
Finding a quality tenant means a higher return on your investment by means of consistent rent payments, less wear and tear, higher rents, and longer tenancies. We qualify all our tenants with references from previous landlords and employers and conduct professional credit checks.

Rent payments are monitored six days a week. If rent payment is late we adhere to a strict procedure on your behalf to protect your property and investment. This includes filing the matter to the Tenancy Tribunal, if required. We are commited to keeping you informed but not involved in this process.
We collect the maximum four-week bond to protect your property and rental income. Thorough exit inspections identify any damage, however we also recommend you take out landlord protection insurance. This provides additional protection for your contents, malicious damage, and gives peace of mind for those unforeseen events. We keep up to date with the Residential Tenancy Act 1986 and Tribunal outcomes and will professionally represent you in Tribunal if required.
Well maintained properties give higher returns and keep their value. We attend to maintenance promptly to keep your tenants happy and your costs as low as possible. We always use qualified tradespeople who provide competitive prices. If you prefer to manage any maintenance yourself or use your own tradespeople, simply let us know.
We’ll contact you about your investment as little or as much as you want. There are no financial surprises at IQ Property Management. We’ll always contact you to gain your authority before we spend your money - even in an emergency. When your property is vacant, we will update you weekly on the search for new tenants.
We provide easy-to-read financial statements so your taxes can be managed smoothly. We also forward you copies of all invoices we pay, so you can see exactly where your money is going. We can also recommend you a specialised property accountant to ensure your pay minimal tax on your investment income.
